Fun Facts

Hello, everyone! Today, let’s talk about the majestic bird, the Golden Eagle, which lives in the high latitude regions of the Northern Hemisphere and is also beloved in Japan.

The Golden Eagle is a large bird of prey, with a body length of 75 to 95 cm. It is characterized by its dark brown or blackish-brown plumage covering the body and the glossy yellow feathers on the back of its head, earning it the title of “King of the Skies.” The golden feathers are the origin of its English name, “Golden Eagle”! Additionally, by slightly changing the shape of its wings, it can master the wind to dive at high speeds or glide silently through the air. It is also known as the “Spirit of the Wind.”
